Comments about Dexter Men's Tactical Work Boot:

My b/f has had these since August and they're still going strong. Says they're comfy and he's on his feet 8 hrs per day, 5 days/week. Tried to get him another pair and he won't part with this pair! And we got them at 25% off, too!

Pros and Cons

Comments about Dexter Men's Tactical Work Boot:

I work in an industrial plant so comfort and durability are a priority. The comfort and look of the boots are superior. The durability are a disappointment. Didn't have problem with sole tearing away from boot. Did have problem with cracks appearing above the toe area in the several boots that I have purchased causes water etc. to leak into the boot making them throwaways. I have purchase probably 6 or more over the past 2 years but only with discount coupons provided. For light duty or for easy walking/hiking they are great, but not for the workplace.

Good boots

Comments about Dexter Men's Tactical Work Boot:

Exceptionally comfortable work boots. Bought them for jogging just for the fall time, but used them all fall, winter and spring, wearing every day for work, for jogging in the city, even when had to clean my driveway after snow storms - and had almost no problems. The only problem, actually, was when I had to spend much time in the office: it was quite hot in them.

The worst time for the boots started in summer, when I returned back to my hiking. I almost lost a sole on left boot in the middle of my first hiking in rocks, with wet moss and some salt water. And on the way back right boot started a separate from its sole as well...

So, in general, I would definitely recommend the boots because of their great comfort. But - only if you plan to wear them not in the highly aggressive environment. If you plan to do much hiking, and not only on developed roads and trails, I would suggest you to look for boots with stitched, not just glued, sole.
