About the National Urban League
Established in 1910, The Urban League is the nation's oldest and largest community-based movement devoted to empowering African-Americans to enter the economic and social mainstream. The mission of the National Urban League is to enable African Americans to secure economic and social self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights. Programs provided by the National Urban League focus on education, job training, health, civic engagement and civil rights.
