Men's Dare Runner
Good shoes for dancing
I noticed that one of my dancing instructors was wearing a sports shoe rather than dancing shoes, so I decided to try out different Payless shoes to see if any would be good for dancing. This shoe turned out to be the best (and the least expensive) of the three different Champion shoes that I purchased. The sole is cheaper material than the other pairs (a harder plastic like substance) but as a result it is easier to do turns. They are comfortable and breathe well. A bonus is that you don't need to carry them to dances and then switch shoes (as you would if you were carrying suede soled shoes. I wouldn't recommend these for women dancers since they need to do a lot more turns than men, but for men they are quite adequate.

The shoes were great as they felt comfortable and tight, had great traction, it is lightweight and is an affordable shoe.
The biggest drawback to this shoe is that it is not slip resistant. If there is any sign of water on the floor, even it it's a damp spot, you will need to be cautious.
Overall, wear them if you're going to be in a dry area. If you're going to be in a wet area or if there is any sign of water, do not wear them because you may slip.

The shoe is very lightweight and much more comfortable than I expected. I tend to buy men's athletic shoes because they give me more support. These shoes met my expectations.
