It has 2 mesh pockets on the outsides for water or drinks.. and the inside is just an open space. Plenty of room for ballet shoes and tap shoes.. also room for an outfit or 2. The straps are the perfect size for my 4 year old to put over her shoulder. Very cute bag! Worth the money, even though I got it BOGO and with a coupon!! I paid $8! for this bag.
