I was going on a trip that required a lot of walking. As soon as I put them on, these felt like the most comfortable sneakers I ever owned. They are so light and you can feel the air going right through them so they keep your feet cool as well. They felt a little wider up front but for me, I can wear a 6 wide or 6.5 regular so the 6.5 worked great for me. One warning: mine came with super long black and white shoe laces and at the airport, my shoe lace got caught in the escalator and someone had to actually rip the shoe lace to get me out. So change to short laces or be careful!

I've just gotten into working out and I needed a new pair of sneakers. The black and yellow caught my eye right away and the price was awesome. They are light-weight, breathable, and the memory foam sole is fantastic!

However, after my first time wearing them, the rubber black toe started rubbing off and turning white. Now, after about a week of wearing them, the same rubber is starting to rip off the shoe. While it's certainly more of a cosmetic issue right now, I have a feeling these shoes won't last me more than a few months.

TERRIBLE

By

from Appleton, Wisconsin

Comments about Champion Women's Gusto Runner:

ok, So i've never bought a runner shoe, tennis shoe or anything at a payless. I decided to give it a try.... TERRIBLE idea. let me give you reasons why.
1. So I bought it originally cause i'm like, oh wow they're really light. YES. they're light, because their cheaply made. I was afraid that I was going to rip the material putting them on because it was so flimsy.
2. the memory foam was comfortable for all of ONE day. after the first day, it started to roll and rip.

Now, I don't want to give up on payless right, but I think i'm going to have to choose a different store because like all of the runner shoes/tennis shoes are made with memory foam and I will NEVER purchase memory foam shoes ever again. This makes me incredibly upset because a 12 wide is so hard to find anywhere. ):

Super comfortable

By

from Winter Haven, Florida

Comments about Champion Women's Gusto Runner:

I bought these in store and usually wear a 7.5 or 8 size shoe but the 8.5 was the perfect size because I thought I would need a wide based on my old Champion shoes but the 8.5 is perfect. I love them because they feel like bedroom slippers. I have only worn them twice now but they feel so good I want a backup pair for the future. I only wear sneakers for 4 to 5 hours at a time. I do not wear my sneakers every day or to workout in so any sneakers I buy usually last longer.

Undecided

Comments about Champion Women's Gusto Runner:

They run a little small, which is great for me. One of my feet is size 6 1/2, and the other is slightly under a 7. I usually buy 7s, which often seem too large on my 6.5 foot. These fit my larger foot perfectly, and are not overly big on my smaller foot. I find them true to width, as I wear wide, and these are very comfortable. The foam feels comfortable, but not very thick. I've been wearing them around the house w/no problem, but am not sure how they'll hold up once I begin teaching, next week. They are very light on my feet, and ultra breathable, but will soak through, if it's raining. I'm a little surprised that they are sold as running shoes. There seems to be very little arch or arch support to them.

You get what you pay for

Comments about Champion Women's Gusto Runner:

These are very comfortable! I wear these for work (I walk around a lot and have to watch out for spills) and my feet never ache, even after a long shift. However, they are not high quality shoes. They are super lightweight because the upper is just mesh which means they are SUPER breathable, but if you wear hot pink socks, you will see them underneath. I don't recommend wear these in the rain either. To repeat what another person said, the black part of the tip of the shoe started to turn white after about a month of wearing them.

Okay, not too supportive, loses bounce quickly

Comments about Champion Women's Gusto Runner:

Fit: I find they run a little small. I usually fit into a 10 at Payless just fine, but for these I would have gotten a 10 1/2 if it had been available. Width is good--I take a wide, and these work for me. They look fine.

Initial comfort is good--they feel very cushy--but I wore a pair on vacation for a week straight and by the end of that time there was no bounce left in the soles, and I could feel the ground (and rocks, and sticks . . .) Not a ton of support on these. I did buy a second pair for knocking around the house, on sale, but I wouldn't wear these if I plan to be walking for long periods of time. The upper was comfortable right away and didn't need any breaking in.

I got the all-black in-store. I wanted something comfy to

Comments about Champion Women's Gusto Runner:

I got the all-black in-store. I wanted something comfy to run around Europe in. I liked that they were lightweight, but that's because they are mesh (AKA not great for random rainy spring days in Germany). They remained comfortable, but became a bit worn out. They got me through three weeks, but now I need to go shopping for something else.

tl:dr; You get what you pay for.
