The review options give you options of "VERY" in front of durable and comfortable, but I'm not going to "Flatter" these value priced safety sneakers nor will I "thrash" them because they aren't as 'cute' as my $100 $ke♡♡♡rs!. I'll give you an honest review, from a 40+ year old, Caucasian Female, 5'7" 145 lbs and is a . Registered Nurse. Wears a *White 8.5 wide. Wears the shoes strictly for work. ~ ☆ After 3 months of wearing the shoes, basic construction of the shoe is in good condition. Obvious wear but not any issues with coming apart at the sole as one reviewer stated. No separation of the mesh and leather seams. Have had NO SLJPS, FALLS, good slip resistant soil! Are not like Dr Sch♡♡♡s on the comfort level... although they have trademarked " Signature 24/7 comfort insole" I can't give them 5 stars on comfort. They aren't uncomfortable, but removing the insole and putting in a custom one I choose to wear, is my preference as far as comfort rating.
*I could easily see why a heavy set person, health issues possibly like diabetics or arthritis, could REALLY complain about the "lack of" 24/7 comfort as these SafeTshoes DO ADVERTISE. Nurses over all rating, 4 stars.
55 year old, Caucasian female, retired, up and walking around on a regular basis. Shopping mall trips, parks and play grounds with grand kids. 5'5" 165lbs. Black shoe size 7 NON-Wide width. Does have arthritis and looks for supportive shoes. Value was acceotable.. clearly under the cost of other "Arthritis" friendly shoes. While value was ok, so was comfort and support. NOT an ideal shoe if you REQUIRE support or extra comfort in your shpe. If you are use to a supportive shoe, you will DEFINITELY notice these lack in support and comfort. Wherefore I can relate to some of the reviews. However, if you don't typically buy a supportive shoe then the added "comfort insole" might be just rught! Durability is ok. Value, ok. Solid 4 stars from nana!

I have had two pairs of these shoes within the last six months. I wear them to work and after a few months they are ripped on the sides of the shoes.. I paid $34.99 for the shoes and they need to be made with better materials which last longer than a few months. I will never purchase these shoes again..

Due to foot surgery, this is the only shoe I can wear with my custom orthotic and I'm grateful for them. They do wear out but I get at least a year of where from them.

A Genuinely Decent Shoe

By

Comments about safeTstep Women's Relay Runner:

I bought these shoes for the first time back in 2015 for my housekeeping position and as someone who not only stands and walks at work for 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week, but also walks to and from work, I can honestly say I'm shocked at all the negative reviews. I don't doubt their validity as everyone's experience is different, but for myself personally I can say they are extremely comfortable and I've only bought 2 pairs since 2015 and they are all I wear to work; they have proven to be extremely durable for me, and I am very hard on my feet. I love these shoes.

Comments about safeTstep Women's Relay Runner:

I'm surprised there are low reviews on this. I first bought these shoes for my job at a restaurant, and they lasted me about year. I thought they were really comfy. I then just bought the shoe in general just to have. I have bought this shoe now 4 times. 3x in white and once in black. I have never slipped. I recently just bought the white (third time) since I will be working in a hospital and my black pair are still holding up just fine.

Super comfortable, terrible soles.

Comments about safeTstep Women's Relay Runner:

I got a pair of these shoes for my new job in a restaurant. I sometimes work in the dishwasher area, but even if I don't, there are times where I have to scrub the floors of the restaurant. That job requires me spilling water on the floor and squeegeeing it away.
The slip resistance is good. I never fall or slip, maybe once I have slipped, but that's all. The material used to put the shoes and soles together is terrible. I had to super glue them back together.
I've only worn these shoes for 3 months. A lot of my other coworkers have Safe-T-Step shoes and we have seen soles fall off and end up on the kitchen floor. One coworker didn't have any black colored tape at home, so he used masking tape to put his falling off shoes back together. It's very unprofessional. It seems like the glue from the soles is only on the outside and once they get wet, they fall off so easily.
