These boots are really cute, and I took them out in the snow and they're warm & weatherproof. What perplexes me about these are the zippers Payless chose to put on these, and the bit of fabric between the zipper halves that only lets it open so much. They don't unzip and open completely, so getting these on is a chore! If the bit of fabric between the zippers wasn't there, I'd have the extra 1/16" that I need to get my foot in without a struggle. That bit of fabric gets caught between the zipper constantly, too, so be careful you don't zip your fingers while trying to hold that piece against your ankle. Finally, the top of the zipper doesn't make much sense. There's no "end" to it, and it seems to want to roll inwards towards the ankle while slightly unzipping, so that on my right boot, the zipper cuts into my calf, but for some reason this doesn't happen on the left and the faux fur acts as a buffer. They are cute and they are weatherproof, but I won't be wearing these when I don't need to. I highly recommend trying on a pair before buying.

Nice dressy winter boots

By

from Coeur d Alene Idaho

Comments about Rugged Outback Women's Iceburg Weather Boot:

I love these boots! We have wet snowy winters up here and I wore these boots almost every single day. They're not completely waterproof, but if you spray them they work well for the wet slushy snow conditions we have here. They were comfortable, dressy, and worked well for everything from day today to church. The only thing I didn't like, is that they are little hard to slide into design. As a result, mine split out in the back seem a little bit. That, these are amazing quotes and I will I hope they have them next year so I can get everything from day today to church. The only thing I didn't like, is that they are little hard to slide into due to the zipper design. As a result, mine frayed along the back seam, about an 1/2 inch. Ither than that, these are amazing boots!

Loved them!

By

from California

Comments about Rugged Outback Women's Iceburg Weather Boot:

Bought these for a trip to Ireland! Sprayed them to completely waterproof them, because they are only water resistant. Did a lot of walking in them and they stood up and stayed comfortable and warm. I would recommend a gel insert, a little hard on the bottom. I love them though, because they are not bulky or heavy and don't bend in weird places like some boots do. Would completely recommend them!

Disappointed

By

Comments about Rugged Outback Women's Iceburg Weather Boot:

Can't really comment on these boots because I had a ridiculously had time slipping my feet into the boots. When the zipper is open the boot doesn't open wide enough. I was very careful not to tear the boots at the opening. Finally got them on, and they were comfortable, but I was concerned about tearing at top of zipper when I took them off. HAD TO RETURN THEM. ACTUALLY I READ THIS COMPLAINT someone else had entered and didn't pay it any mind. I should have listened.

GREAT rain boots!

By

from Ca

Comments about Rugged Outback Women's Iceburg Weather Boot:

I have had these for over a year now and have gotten many compliments, I love them. They are perfect for wet/snowy weather and look stylish enough that I can wear them to the office. Not as warm as real snow boots (I wore them to Alaska in October and my feet got a little chilly tromping around in the snow) but a GREAT compromise between function and style.

I wear an 11.5 usually. Bought an 11W and have had no trouble slipping these on and off, often I don't even zip them up. (someone else mentioned they did not understand why the zipper opening had a liner--personally I love that they do because I can leave them unzipped and not get cold while going to/from yoga.) They even have space for an insole which I use because I stand all day. they clean up easy and haven't shown wear. Only complaint is that the zipper lining does get stuck in the zipper sometimes, but not a bother if you stick your fingers inside while zipping up.

Comfy but not for Chicago winters

By

Comments about Rugged Outback Women's Iceburg Weather Boot:

These boots are very comfortable, but unfortunately, not very warm. I work outside, in Chicago, and today it was 10 degrees. I was only outside for 30 minutes and my feet froze!

These boots are perfect and warm if you are just running to store and not planning on being outside in 10 degree or below weather.

Very Warm

By

Comments about Rugged Outback Women's Iceburg Weather Boot:

I live in western WA state, and my feet are usually always cold in the winter, but these boots actually keep them warm with just 1 pair of regular socks. (This is for temps to the mid 20's; it hasn't gotten colder than that yet). They also keep my feet dry in the notorious Washington rain, and they're very comfortable. Plus, the sole has a deep tread which gives good traction. I will definitely purchase another pair.
