HOW IT WORKS
- Shop online for your favorite styles. Fill cart. Repeat.
- When you check out, select “Cash” under Payment Method.
- Continue the check-out process.
- You'll receive a confirmation link with PayNearMe payment instructions via text or email.
- Follow the link and choose your preferred payment location.
- You’ll get a payment code via text or email. Keep the payment code on your phone or print it out, according to your preference.
- Head to the location you selected within 24 hours of placing your order.
- Show the cashier the payment code. The cashier will scan or enter it in.
- Pay for your purchase with cash.
- We’ll send your order to the address you provided or your preferred Payless store.
- Wear shoes. Look amazing. Repeat.
What is PayNearMe?
PayNearMe is a quick and easy way to use cash for making online Payless purchases. Once you complete the online transaction process, you’ll pay cash at one of 27,000 stores near you using a special payment code that we’ll provide to you via text or email.
Once the store cashier scans or enters in the payment code, simply pay with cash and you’ll receive a receipt as proof of payment. We’ll then ship your order to the address you provided or to your preferred Payless store.
Does it cost anything to use this service?
No. PayNearMe is 100% free for you to use.
Do you require a credit card?
No. All we need is an address to provide you with a list of payment locations.
Do I need to set up an account to use PayNearMe?
No. Just follow the prompts throughout your transaction and you’ll have your new shoes in no time.
What is a PayNearMe payment code?
The PayNearMe payment code identifies the order that you made online. It can appear in the form of a barcode or a combination of letters and numbers.
You can use your payment code on your phone or have it emailed to you to be printed.
After you have selected the participating store at which you wish to make your payment, you must bring your payment code with you. The store clerk will scan or enter the payment code before accepting your cash payment.
Does the payment code ever expire?
Yes! Once you’ve received the payment code, you have 24 hours to use it. Once the payment code expires, we will cancel your order. You will not be charged for canceling the order.
Can I make my cash payment at a Payless store?
No. You’ll pay at one of 27,000 CVS, 7-11, Casey’s General Store, Family Dollar or ACE Cash Express locations near you.
What if I don’t have any PayNearMe locations near me?
PayNearMe is continually adding new locations to their network, so stay tuned!

Can I have my order shipped to somewhere other than my home or nearest Payless store?
Yes. PayNearMe orders are just like any other order placed on Payless.com. The only difference is the payment process.
Is there an order limit?
Yes. Normal Payless.com order limits still apply: No more than 10 of any one item/size per transaction.
